A "THINKING MAN" THRILLER
6 held my interest, 6 had me wishing the movie wasn't already 1/2 way over, 6 made me scream out loud (always a good sign in my book) and 6 was a unique story (hasn't been done to death).
COMPARISON INFO: If you're looking for a slasher/blood & guts movie (which is great too!) you may want to bypass this film and find one more to your desire. If you're looking for a thought-provoking, try to figure-it-out film that has you guessing until the end - you'll enjoy 6 - it delivers. The story comes together well and it's a new story.
The actors did a convincing job - nice to see big name actors in horror films. I think this film was well worth the price and I would gladly rent it again without hesitation.
I got my $9.99 worth!
After reading some of the reviews, I was quite hesitant... however, I decided to watch; and I thought it was good. Julianne Moore never cease to amaze me with her acting skills and Jonathan Rhys Meyers was actually good in his character. I recommend this. I getting every cent out of my (LOL) 48 hour "see it before it hit the theaters" rental, because I plan to watch it again before it expires. The best part -- I didn't have to leave my house and I sat watching it in my PJs and enjoyed it!
Shelter
I watched this movie probably about 2 years ago now. It was called Shelter. I liked it very much. Does anyone else notice they have done this with other movies like, "Case 39"? I also watched it under a different name before.
